“One of our main goals here at Madison is to provide a safe, secure, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our young scholars to study in. This begins with the moment students touch foot on campus. Currently, students who enter through the Nelson Street gate have to walk past our trash dumpster and down a long, unappealing corridor. We plan on using the money from the Neighborhood Grind Fundraiser to purchase planter boxes, potting soil, and plants. Our goal will be to have the climbing vines cover up the chain link fence and provide camouflage. Madison Elementary School would like to thank the Neighborhood Grind for assisting us in this endeavor.”
